Hye :) Banyak cerita lama tertunggak.
So, here's one of them. I donated my blood the other day ya'all. Oh yeah, saya memang bangga. *kembang hidung* Eh, bukan semua yang nak derma darah ni aww. I made a survey aw, not the formal ones la. But most people don't really wanna donate their bloods. Ni bukan lah nak membanggekan diri. Just as a reminder for people out there.
Most people thinks that blood donation is just some crap or that it doen's matter a bit. Well, sangatlah salah kenyatan itu okay. When you donate blood, you're giving people out there a chance to live. A chance to tell their loved ones that they love 'em. Eh, melalut lakk. XD And, one more thing, we just don't know when is our turn to be the misfortunate kan? Mane la taw, ditakdirkan kite eksiden ke. You lost a lot of blood. And, the hospital just can't find any blood to be put on your body. Tak ke mampus jawabnye? Haaaa, renung-renungkan :)
Okay, here are some reasons why people just don't donate blood :
They don't care
They just don't care. It seems that they are not aware that bloods that are donated are not just thrown away. It'll be given to the needy ones.
"Bukannye saya kenal pun penerima darah saya nanti. Kalu relatives tapa lah"Payoh la oghe lagu ni. Mu ingak dermo daghoh ni mace wi duet rayo? Nok cari hok samo pamily jaaa. Kalu mu eksideng gak, sapo nok wi mu daghoh? Tok mu? Ha, mu amek daghoh dr sepita jgk! Mu kenaa oghe hok wi dahgoh tu?
They are afraid
They don't even like needles poking through their skin, let alone to donate blood. I find these people selfish as they only think about their fears only.
"Darah saya pun ta cukup, inikan pulak nak bagy orang
Ey, kedekut gyle. Eh, mana ang taw darah ang kurang? Ang dah check ka? Kalu dah, tapa lah. Kalu belum, p la check dulu. Awat la ang kalut sangat nih.
They think they had donated enough
Once is not enough la babe. You think when you donated once ( which is waayy back in time ) , you don't need to do it anymore. The needs are not decreasing, for goodness sake. It's increasing. Lagy-lagy eksiden sini-sana kan?
Too busy
This is bulls lah. I mean, hello? Time untuk bende lain ade lak. Besides, bukan nye tiap-tiap hari. It's only once in three months! At least, in a year, we could donate three times aw.
"Eh, kang darah saya habes kang"Kepala lutut ang! Bhahaha. Apeda. Kan darah tu selalu dihasilkan semula. Pastilah ta habes deh darah kome tuuuuu. Aduuuyyy.
Mule-mule masuk Heritage Hall tu, perasaan memang gementar. Dah la tu, i went there alone aw. None of my friends would dare to do it with me. Ade yang ade kelas. Whatever. So, the moment i stepped at the main entrance, i was half-heartedly strolling arouund the hall. Nak pikir la konon-konon. Bhahaha. Then, i was greeted by this senior at the main entrance. She asked if i wanted to donate me blood. Fortunately, i said "yes" without any reluctance anymore. At that time, i'm 100% sure that i want to do this.
Isi-isi borang ( which is banyak ), macam-macam details. Yela, kang kalu ta sehat, mane buley derma kan kan? Timbang berat lagy yaww. Then, i was moved to this table la. Ade doctor ni, buley tahan la muke *bhahaha*. Checked blood pressure bla bla. He was super nice to me. Sebab ape taw? Sebab i came alone, and that was my first time and i made the muka comel face. Bhahahaha. Then, moves to the other table lak. One nurse waited there. Check lak darah. Cocok jari lak uh. Then, when everytahing was okayy, pegy lak kat satu meja ni *sumpah penat tukar-tukar meja*. Isi lagy borang. Lepas tu this guy gave me the kotak. It has the plastics to put the darah and the needles etc.
Lepas tu, pegy lak dekat katil-katil. Chosed one katil. Laid down and waited. Nurse tanye bla bla sapu-sapu then cocok. I thought dah setel. Rupenye it was only the ubat. Then, cock again for the real needle. Besaq jugak la kalu dibandingkan dengan jarum cucuk ubat tu. Kalu kecik and sempit, lambat la darah tu nak penuh, dduuhhh. Ade la sakit sikit. Prickling la kot. But it's not permanent la. Kejap jep. And since the nurse will ask you tu picit-picit this kayu, secare automatisnye, you will forget about the pain. Believe me :)
Picit-picit, tengok-tengok dah siap. Dah penuh pun. Banyak darah kan :) Then, the nurse'll ask you to rest on the bed. Lepas tu taw-taw somebody put a bag of foods and drink and a certificate along with the sijil book ( the red one ) So, dah setel la. Lepas tu lepas kat H hall sampai masa untuk kelas. Hahaha! Ambek kesempatan bhai :)
Thanks to UTAR for this oppurtunity. They extended the campaign yaw. My luck :) And also to the Tabung Darah Hospital Ipoh for coming all this way to Kampar. Oh, and not to forget the First Aid Society. It's one of the societies in UTAR. Cehh, poyo jep ryni XD
